Salisburys shortlisted for Regional Business Award
Salisburys named Business NSW 2022 Murray-Riverina Regional Business Finalist
Salisbury Accountants & Business Advisors has been shortlisted as an Excellence in Small Business finalist in this year’s Murray-Riverina Regional Business Awards.
The Excellence in Small Business award category recognises businesses that have effectively driven growth and are able to demonstrate the specific strategies implemented to achieve business success and/or resilience.
Business recovery, resilience and helping business owners devise their Definitions of Success have been key themes for Salisburys.
“Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we continued expanding discussions around clients’ Definitions of Success and partnering with business owners to establish or grow their businesses by offering full-service business planning,” said Director Ben Gay.
Salisburys is a multigenerational accounting firm offering services that resonate best with businesses using technology.
“Our expertise is contemporary and our outlook modern, but we’re also an established regional firm showing how technology can transcend a local bricks-and-mortar base to deliver everything SMBs need,” Ben said.
The Murray-Riverina Regional Business Awards recognises and celebrates business growth, resilience, entrepreneurship and success across our region. The Murray-Riverina is a leading regional economy and is characterised by strong and diverse industries such as agriculture, manufacturing, transport and logistics, health and tourism sectors.
“It is an honour to be recognised as a regional finalist in the NSW Business Awards and a reflection of the wonderful work our team does,” Ben added.
“For our team, business advice means providing strategic operational advice, not just financial beancounting, and working with clients beyond compliance is now cemented in our strategy. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we found scope to explore opportunities, tried new ideas and even revamped some tired business models which helped our clients to improve their productivity, streamlined communications and standardised tasks that optimised their outputs.”
The finalist list announced on 13 September features nearly 100 high-achieving individuals and businesses across 15 submission-based categories and Salisburys congratulates all this year’s finalists. Regional Winners will be announced at the gala evening on Friday 21 October at the Whitton Malt House.
